Newborn Photography Kent …. a Special Photoshoot with Newborn Lottie
Oh my word … what can I say other than …. delightful, dreamy, adorable little newborn Lottie and her pretty in pink photos say it ALL! She was an absolute angel and gave me the best excuse ever to go for full on PINK!
I used a nice little selection of props for Lottie, a very cute pink ruffled crocheted hat and a white long tailed hat. She was so sleepy which was awesome! The temperature in the room was cosy and warm, just perfect for her, as usually babies prefer to have totally clothed (until they get older that is, and then that all changes!) but for now, I need to keep her warm and snuggled in blankets. Then slowly slowly I edge off the blanket to reveal the perfect little peach of a newborn all curled up and ready to photograph. A large part of the photo session is carried out on the beanbag, then I move to the adorable little newborn basket props. One of my favourites is the large round wicker basket, inside which I line the edge with a super soft mohair plait. Newborns love it, and just carry on snoozing away, totally oblivious to the ahhh’s and ‘just look at her’ comments coming from Mum and me!
And of course no little girl newborn shoot would be complete without the customary and signature huge double pom pom pink hat shot, and Lottie did it proud, AND then gave us a super sweet curly smile to boot! I like to give parents new fresh shots within their gallery to choose from, so I always try something new, alternative colour combinations with different props, different angles. So for Lottie, I wanted to go with grey as I had a pretty grey headband which I knew was going to suit her perfectly. The streaming light from the East highlighted Lotties chubby little cheeks and pouty lips, she looked absolutely adorable. Newborn Photography Kent.
The photoshoot with Lottie was brilliant and an undeniable privilege and Im so happy that Lottie’s Mummy and Daddy will have some very precious images to keep for ever, as in just a few cheeks she would have changed, but her cute little features and soft skinned body will be captured forever.
