THE Wedding Day… Your HUGE celebratory day, the day that you have spent so much time already organising and planning. So, the Venue’s booked, and next it is the photographer! There are so many to choose from, so how do you decide on the best one for you?
Most of my wedding bookings come from recommendations, happy clients and guests who have been there and seen me photograph a wedding. I covered a wedding recently, and there were 3 couples with their dates booked with no photographer! After seeing how I perfomed and blend in with the guests, how everyone relaxes around me, they all contacted me, arranged a viewing and booked! To me this speaks volumes!!!! I concentrate on ensuring that I capture all the best shots, but as much out of view as possible. It is your day and I am there to record it, without you even knowing that I am there!
WHAT IS MY STYLE?
I combine creative, reportage, classic and traditional photography together to achieve a great variety of images for your wedding collection. I change lenses, settings and perspectives constantly to attain a great mix of imagery for you.
I use my creative eye throughout the whole day, however during the bridal preparation is where my imagination can really be exercised. I am looking for those shots with a difference. The dress, flowers, jewellery, the fabrics, the settings, everything, I take time to create beautiful combinations to ensure adorned sentiment pervades through the lens.
Another wonderful creative opportunity is when I wisk you off for 20 minutes for the romantic pictures. Here I work with you, we have fun and you take time out to be together …. with laughing, talking and close moments. I snap around you whilst you breath in the moment and enjoy. This is also the time when I take some powerful classic photographs, which embrace your surroundings.
Reportage photography is the style that I use for most of the day. Natural, candid photography, recording true moment and atmosphere. It requires me to be constantly alert, searching for people’s expressions and listening for laughter, recording the action and celebrations as they happen! This adds the real feel to the photographs, and for this I am on the paramenters, quietly snapping away, capturing those moments without you even realising, leaving you to experience the day to the fullest.
The Group Shots!!! It’s one of those times in the day when I work quickly and pervasively! This is a time for Traditional photographery, ensuring that grandparents and great grandparents are photographed with the Bride and Groom!
I am hoping that you can feel my excitement and passion for wedding photography, together with the desire to deliver the best for you, my client. This is a skill and an art and one which requires experience, knowledge and dedication to ensure you receive the images and products that you are looking for.
