Wedding Photographer Berkshire – The Simpkin’s Big Day

Wedding Photographer Berkshire, Wokefield Park, Reading

The Simpkin’s Big Day!

The Simpkins were over the moon with joy after they learnt that both their ceremony and reception venue were historic properties in Berkshire, places they have driven by their whole life. They wanted the event to feel whimsical, yet classic and southern—very natural, not stuffy. Their planner did a wonderful job in bringing the vision on the bride’s head into life. The bride gave up reception decor decisions to her mom and the planner, trusting their style and opinions. When it comes to planning a wedding, mother knows best it seems.

The bride was dressed in a stunning A-cut dress. From there the bride and her two bridesmaids, beautifully dressed in blue, along with her mother, headed out for the church to attend the ceremony. The ceremony was a simple and intimate affair. It was lovely to see the bride walking down the aisle and seeing Dan waiting happy and excited to meet her at the end of it. He looked so incredibly handsome. During the ceremony, it was nice to look out and see so many people from so many different parts of their lives who had all come together that day to watch them get married. Their style for the day was a traditional family wedding. They wanted to show where they came from. wedding photographer berkshire wokefield Park Reading

The Wedding reception was held at the Wokefield Park, Reading, Berkshire. With its manicured lawns, gardens, picturesque lake and 250 acres of Royal Berkshire’s finest parkland,  Wokefield Park has a special air of romance and a magical sense of seclusion. For generations this has been the family home of nobles, dignitaries and society’s movers and shakers. As you step inside it still has that homely feel. The perfect backdrop for any wedding, the 18th century Mansion House offers much more than breath-taking beauty and historic grandeur. The bride and groom thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony and posed for a lot of romantic portraits afterwards at the Mansion House. They look so lovely together. wedding photographer berkshire wokefield Park Reading

The best thing about their wedding day was watching so many people from their different walks of life celebrate together. The bride felt special surrounded by so much love and affection. They had a giggly, fun-filled morning with their closest friend and families.
